What does the D•I•Y stand for?

DIYWOMAN has never been about home maintenance, with one or two memorable exceptions. The do-it-yourself component is about how we choose to respond to life’s challenges. As long as we have choices, we have agency.

Daring: Having the courage to take chances

Intuitive: Sharing the wisdom gained from our time on earth

Young@heart: Retaining the curiosity and optimism of youth

DIYWOMAN covers a wide range of topics, from relationships to travel to ways to stay engaged in our world. We write about books we love and books we gave up on – and don’t feel guilty about. Because we know the most precious commodity we have is time, and we’ve still got lots to pack in to our allocation.
